Voting

QRDO holders can vote on new proposals for Qredo Protocol via Snapshot.org. If you aren't familiar with what Snapshot is or how it works, learn more about it here.

Your voting power depends on the total amount of QRDO staked in your Staking Vault. The more QRDO you stake, the stronger is your voice!

To start voting on proposals for Qredo Protocol, take the steps described below. Note that you need to complete steps 1–3 before a voting period starts in order to participate in a vote.

Step 1. Nominate a Web3 Wallet as a Voting Wallet

Make sure that you've connected your Web3 Wallet to WalletConnect or MetaMask Institutional. Then nominate your Wallet as a Voting Wallet:

1. Log in to Qredo and navigate to your Workspace. You need to be a Workspace Admin.

2. Click Qredo Station in the left-hand menu to access Qredo Station.

3. In the right part of the screen, click Set Up Voting.

4. Select one of your Web3 Wallets from the list.

5. Click Nominate Wallet. You'll see a message confirming that your wallet is nominated.

Your Voting Wallet will be displayed in Qredo Station. You can edit the Wallet before the vote begins and view your voting power at the start of the voting period.

Important: Your Voting Wallet is used only to identify you, it's balance doesn't matter. Your voting power depends on the total amount of QRDO staked in your Staking Vault.

Step 2. Connect your Voting Wallet to Snapshot

1. In Qredo Station, click Visit Snapshot.org or just go to Snapshot.org.

2. Click Connect wallet in the top-right corner and select MetaMask or WalletConnect, depending on your Voting Wallet type.

3. Click Connect.

4. Follow the steps below to connect the WalletConnect or MetaMask wallet you have nominated as your Voting Wallet:

   • WalletConnect: Select WalletConnect -> Display the QR code -> Open Qredo Signing App -> Open Connections -> Select WalletConnect -> Select New Connection -> Scan the QR code on the screen -> Select your Nominated Voting Wallet from the list -> Approve connection.

   • MetaMask: Select MetaMask -> In the MetaMask extension, select your Nominated Voting Wallet from the list -> Select Connect.

Step 3. Join the Qredo group on Snapshot

1. In Qredo Station, click Visit Snapshot.org or just go to Qredo Network on Snapshot.

2. Click Join. In the pop-up window, click Sign.

3. Approve in the Qredo Signing App.

Step 4. Cast a vote

1. In Qredo Station, click Vote via Snapshot.org or just go to Proposals in the Qredo group.

2. Under Cast your vote, select the option you wish to vote for.

3. Click Vote and then Confirm.

4. Approve in the Qredo Signing App.

Now your vote is in!
