Staking

You can stake QRDO tokens and earn distributed rewards using your Staking Vault in the Qredo Station.

Set up your Staking Vault and start staking and earning rewards. Receive rewards automatically to any QRDO Vault within your Workspace or back into your Staking Vault. The more you stake the more rewards and voting power you receive!

You can also unstake (unbond) your assets and then transfer them out or re-stake unbonded assets.

Set up your Staking Vault

To set up your Staking Vault:

1. Log in to Qredo and navigate to your Workspace.

2. Click Qredo Station in the left-hand menu to access Qredo Station.

3. Select the Staking tab in the top-right corner of the screen and click Set Up Staking.

4. Select the Staking Policy that will govern your Staking Vault.

5. Set the Rewards destination. You can receive your rewards to:

   • Any QRDO Vault within your Workspace

   • The Staking Vault you're creating

6. Click Set Up Staking Vault.

Stake

To start staking you need to top up QRDO into your Staking Vault either from a QRDO Vault within this Workspace or from an external Wallet. Note that the minimum staking amount is 2500 QRDO.

To stake from a QRDO Vault:

1. In Qredo Station > Staking, click Stake QRDO.

2. Select Transfer from this Workspace and select the QRDO Vault you wish to transfer from.

3. Specify the Amount.

4. Click Top Up, then authorize and approve the transaction in the Qredo Signing App to complete the transfer.

To stake from an external Wallet:

1. In Qredo Station > Staking, click Stake QRDO.

2. Select View address.

3. Check the box next to the disclaimer and click Show Address to show your Staking Vault address.

4. Copy the Staking Vault address and top it up from your preferred external Wallet.

You can always view the amount of staked assets in the Staked balance box on the top of the screen. In the Staking & Rewards history section, you can find the history of all your stakes and rewards.

Important: Assets deposited into the Staking Vault will be bonded. If you wish to transfer the staked assets out of your Staking Vault, you have to unstake (unbond) them first. See the sections below explaining how to unstake and transfer out your assets.

Earn rewards

Once you stake QRDO, they'll start accruing rewards daily. Rewards are distributed each week on Monday. You will receive them to the Vault you nominated as the Rewards destination when setting up your Staking Vault.

The amount of rewards earned each week depends on two things:

• The amount of QRDO bonded in your Staking Vault. Unbonded (unstaked) assets don't earn rewards.

• The APY rate during the current reward cycle (1 week). APY, or Annual Percentage Yield, is the estimated percentage of the annual return on your staking investment. It varies based on network activity.

You can always view how much you earned in the Rewards earned box on the top of the screen. To edit the rewards destination, click the three-dot Actions menu icon, click Edit rewards destination, and follow the instructions.

Unstake

After you deposit assets into the Staking Vault, they are bonded. If you wish to transfer some or all staked assets out of your Staking Vault, you have to unstake (unbond) them first.

The unbonding period lasts for 3 reward cycles (3 weeks) + remaining days in current reward cycle. This means that after initiating the unstaking process, you have to wait for 21–28 days before you're able to transfer out your assets.

During the unbonding period assets don't earn rewards, but you can cancel unstaking at any time to resume staking and earning again:

1. In Qredo Station > Staking, navigate to the Staked balance box on the top of the screen.

2. Click the three-dot Actions menu icon and click Unstake.

3. Specify the Amount to unstake.

4. Click Unstake and authorise the transaction in the Qredo Signing App.

The pending unstake transaction will be shown in Staking and Rewards history. Click the three-dot Actions menu icon next to the transaction to view its details and cancel unstaking if needed. Note that cancelling one unstaking transaction doesn't affect other unstaking transactions which could be running in parallel.

Transfer out

After the unbonding period (3 weeks + remaining days in current reward cycle) ends, you can transfer your assets out of the Staking Vault:

1. Go to Qredo Station > Staking.

2. Navigate to the Available to transfer box on the top of the screen. Your assets will appear there once they are available.

3. Click the three-dot Actions menu icon and select Transfer.

4. Select the QRDO Vault destination you wish to receive the unstaked assets into

5. Specify the Amount to transfer.

6. Click Send and authorize the transaction in the Qredo Signing App.

Re-stake

After the unbonding period (3 weeks + remaining days in current reward cycle), you can re-stake your assets and start earning rewards again:

1. Go to Qredo Station > Staking.

2. Navigate to the Available to transfer box on the top of the screen. Your assets will appear there once they are available.

3. Click the three-dot Actions menu icon and select Re-Stake.

4. Specify the Amount to re-stake.

5. Click Re-Stake and authorize the transaction in the Qredo Signing App.

Important: You don't have to wait for the end of the unbonding period. You can cancel unstaking at any time to resume staking.
