Choosing the right wallet type depends on your need. The following Wallet types are available:

1. STANDARD Wallet#

You decide the Custody Policies for this wallet type. You conduct your own transactions independently.

2. DEDICATED Wallet#

A Dedicated Wallet has the following features:

  • This Wallet type is solely for access by a single THIRD PARTY such as an Exchange. The wallet must be created as a Dedicated Wallet selecting the third party at the time of creation from a list.

  • The THIRD PARTY is a Custodian over the wallet and must approve assets moving out of it. This is required because the trader may have a limit order open with a 3rd Party. The 3rd Party must ensure funds are available to meet the limit order.

  • Additional Custodians can be added to the Wallet during creation.

  • The THIRD PARTY has 'Sweep Transaction' power to initiate one way transfers or atomic swaps bypassing other Custodians.

3. MULTI-COUNTERPARTY Wallet#

This Wallet is accessible by multiple 3rd Parties. The purpose of this Wallet is to enable a trader to have multiple exchanges connected to the same Wallet to allow market orders to be placed on multiple exchanges - this is a non-leveraged wallet.

  • This Wallet has the same features as STANDARD WALLET

  • The THIRD PARTY has 'Sweep Transaction' power to initiate one way transfers or atomic swaps bypassing other Custodians.
