Asset represents a Qredo supported digital asset such as a cryptoassets and/or cryptocurrencies. Currently supported assets can be obtained at the Assets endpoint.
Company represents a customer account created by a partner. Multiple companies can be created corresponding to multiple customer accounts.
Counterparty refers to the persons or entities on opposite sides of a transaction.
Currency represents a cryptocurrency or tokenized asset. TO BE CONFIRMED
Custody refers to the governance of a fund on behalf of customers. This governance is determined with a tailored Custody Policy.
Custody Policy refers to the governance and authorization of the movement of assets i.e. TX - Transfers and Swaps and Withdraw - Withdrawals policy.
Custodian Custodians approve transactions moving assets out of a fund.
Epoch refers to a date and time relative to which a computer's clock and timestamp values are determined. The epoch traditionally corresponds to 0 hours, 0 minutes, and 0 seconds (00:00:00) Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) on a specific date.
A Fund represents a container for Assets, Custody Policy and Deposit Addresses. A Fund can contain multiple assets. Each asset has a single deposit address. Multiple Funds can be created on behalf of a customer.
Fund Manager is the owner of the Account. The Fund Manager sets up Funds, determines the Custody Policy for a Fund and appoints Custodians. For Company Accounts the Fund Manager is the user assigned to that role. When using the Partner API, this role is performed by the partner themselves.
A Holding represents a portfolio of Funds.
A Trusted Network is the collective term for all Trusted Parties. Counterparties and Custodians.
A Trusted Party can be a Counterparty for a transaction and/or a Custodian.
A User is an individual who is added to the Qredo Network. Once added, funds can be transferred to them using the API. A user must be added to the Trusted Network as Trusted Party to act as a custodian.
